It started with a favour
I was living in Costa Adeje when a work colleague mentioned he had a few holiday apartments he was struggling to find guests for. I offered to help. It worked out well – and I really enjoyed it.

Getting to know the island
Over the next few years, I got to know many local owners and agencies with beautiful holiday apartments to rent. I started matching them with guests – choosing only apartments I'd be happy to stay in myself.

A team on the island
In 2017 I moved back to mainland Europe, but Away From Rain carried on. To keep the apartments, the cleaning and the service just right, we have a small team in Tenerife who love what they do. They welcome our guests and look after them throughout their stay.

Still small, still personal
We look after guests from all over the UK and beyond, across Costa Adeje and the rest of Tenerife South. I still answer your messages myself, and many of our guests have been coming back for years – for us, that's the best reward there is.
