Hey, I’m Richard. Most likely it’ll be me you’ll hear back from if you reach out to us. 
I started AwayFromRain back in 2013 when I was living in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. It started when I came across a few holiday apartments my work colleague had for rent and struggled to get clients for. I decided to try to get more bookings for those properties and I was lucky. And happy too.
Over the next few years in Tenerife, I got to know many owners and real estate agencies that had beautiful holiday apartments for short term rent and were looking for more clients. And that’s what I continue to do until now – I help people find quality private accommodation for their holidays in Tenerife. And on the other end, I help people accommodate their stunning holiday homes with responsible guests who treat the properties as their own.
I moved back to Europe since 2017 and still continue to run this website and help our dear clients have an unforgettable time in Tenerife. To keep the quality of the properties themselves, the cleanliness and the customer service, we have a team of people in Tenerife who love what they do and do it superbly. All of us love the island and are very happy when our guests leave with big smiles and come back to us again. That is the true reward we work for and give our hearts to.
